LCWFC Have signed a three year deal with Quorn FC to move their home FAWPL games to Farley Way Stadium.
Starting from September, Leicester City Women FC will be playing on the new ‘state-of-the-art’ 3G pitch complete with brand new LED Floodlighting.
LCWFC’s first league game at Farley Way Stadium will be on September 10th as 3rd hosts 2nd from last season, when Middlesbrough Women travel to Leicestershire.

Two FA Women’s Super League teams have also visited Farley Way, with Watford and Sheffield Ladies both facing double headers against LCWFC and their Reserves.
Quorn play in the Midland League Premier Division where they finished 11th last season, are hoping the new facilities can help them produce some talented young players again, having previously seen players such as Luke Varney and Dion Dublin pass though their team before going on to make Football League appearances.
After the move was announced, LCWFC Manager Jonathan Morgan commented; “This move is great for Leicester City Women, the ground boasts some impressive facilities including the brand new pitch.
It shows we are still moving forward as a club both on and off the pitch. We’re all excited to get the season started and show what we can do here.”
